Sally Parnis is an Artist based in Adelaide, South Australia.
She has a strongly observational drawing based practice, working in contemporary and traditional media, which in turn informs her painting and making.
Sally’s work explores the opportunities and difficulties created by moving subjects and changing light.
Other concerns include environmental and political issues and the importance of the everyday, however drawing and its relationship to painting is always at the heart of her practice.
